Suitcase Theory is an independent publication about packing and everything next to it. It exists because the useful version of this subject is usually the one nobody has time to write.
The tone we aim for is brisk, practical, faintly amused — we assume you are intelligent, busy, and able to tell when you are being flattered.
What we cover
The site is organised into 6 sections:
- Packing — What goes in the bag, what stays home, and why the list keeps shrinking.
- Airports & Flying — Security, connections, seats and surviving the parts between the gates.
- Trains & Ground — Rail, buses, ferries and the overland routes worth the extra hours.
- Booking & Money — Fares, cards, insurance and the small print that decides who pays.
- Where You Sleep — Hotels, rentals and hostels judged on the things you notice at 1am.
- Travel Routine — Jet lag, laundry, admin and staying functional on the road.
Who writes it
